Mongolia: Emerging Mineral Giant

The search for new mineral wealth is pushing to the far reaches of the globe. Mongolia, the neighbor to two of the world’s largest economies, Russia and China, is on track to have the largest copper mine outside of Chile. International mining companies are taking up increased interest in Mongolia, which suffers from poverty and a lack of modern infrastructure.

Molycor Announces Closing of Its Private Placement

Molycor Gold Corp. (TSX VENTURE:MOR)(PINK SHEETS:MLYFF)(FRANKFURT:M1V) announced that, the Company will not be closing any further tranches in its private placement, announced in its news release dated March 29, 2010 and amended April 30, 2010.

Coro Mining’s update

Coro Mining Corp. (TSX:COP)announced that Quantec International Project Services Ltd. has initiated a 6 line km Titan 24 DCIP survey, at Coro’s 100% owned Chacay porphyry copper property, located 12km southeast of the Teck Resource Limited’s Relincho copper-molybdenum project, and 50km east of the city of Vallenar in the III Region of Chile, at an elevation of approximately 2,600m above sea level.

Altius Reports on 2010 Exploration Season

Altius Minerals Corporation (TSX:ALS) provided an update of exploration work ongoing on a number of its wholly owned and joint venture projects and within companies of which Altius is a significant shareholder.
